Sleep Consultation
As a midwife and sleep consultant trained in the 1001kindernacht® concept, I support families on their very individual path toward more rest and more relaxed sleep.
At the center of my work is an attachment-oriented approach that always takes the child’s developmental stage into account. Every child is unique, just like every family. That is why I do not use standardized programs. Instead, I offer tailor-made solutions that fit your family’s everyday life.
The 1001kindernacht® concept is based on the belief that healthy sleep grows from security, emotional closeness, and a stable parent–child bond. Instead of quick “one-size-fits-all solutions,” we work together to find sustainable changes that lead to more relaxation for the entire family in the long term.
In my consultations, I consider the needs of both the child and the parents. I also take into account the child’s temperament, developmental stage, everyday circumstances, and individual challenges. This allows us to find solutions that are realistic, compassionate, and sustainable for your family.

A Clear Distinction from Sleep Training
My approach differs significantly from traditional sleep training methods, such as the so-called “Ferber method,” where children are expected to learn to sleep independently as quickly as possible through conditioning techniques, often by being left to cry according to a fixed schedule.
Together with the parents, I choose a different path. My work is based on trust, co-regulation, and strengthening the parent–child bond. The goal is not to make a child “function,” but to create a sense of security so that the child can gradually learn to sleep independently and calmly.
Sustainable Rather Than Fast
There are no quick fixes, and that is precisely the strength of this approach. Changes are allowed to develop gradually. Often, even small and carefully adjusted changes can have a big impact.
In many cases, a single consultation is already enough to gain new perspectives and practical steps for everyday life. Of course, follow-up sessions are available whenever needed.
